LUMINOSITY
FOR OUR FIRST ASSIGNMENT,WE ARE GOING TO LEARN ABOUT LIGHT. TO TALK ABOUT HOW ARE WE GONG TO PLACE THE LIGHT TO CREATE DIFFERENT SHADOW, CONTRAST, REFLECTION AND LIGHTNING TONE. AFTER THE BRIEF WE ARE ASK TO DO THREE DIFFERENT LIGHT BOX. SO MINE WILL BE A OIL LAMP, NATURAL LIGHTNING FROM WINDOW AND WALL LGHTNING

THESE ARE THE LIGHTNING REFERENCE THAT IM GOING TO MAKE MY LIGHT BOX. BEFORE WE START OUR LIGHT BOX WE ARE GOING TO WRITE DESCRIPTION ON EACH OF EVERY PHOTO AND 1 VISUAL AND 1 FEELING. AFTER APPROVAL FROM LECTURER, WE GOING TO START OUR LIGHT BOX.

FOR THE FIRST LIGHT BOX I DECIDE TO USE PLASTIC PAPER, SOLID PAPER AND ALUMINIUM FOILD. I USE THE PLASTIC PAPER AND BURN IT TO CREATE A CRUMBLE LOOK AND CREATE A CRUMBLE SHADOW. THEN FOR THE ALUMINIUM FOLD IS TO CREATE THE COLOUR AND REFLECTION FROM THE PLASTIC.

FOR THE SECOND LIGHT BOX, I USE PIECES OF GLASS TO CREATE THE TONE LIGHT AND THE REFLECTION TO REPRESENT THE SUN SHOOT THROUGH THE WINDOW AND CREATE THE COOL TONE RAY OF LIGHT.

FOR THE LAST ONE WHICH IS INFLUENCE FROM THE WALL LIGHT. AT FIRST I DECIDED TO USE ROUND SHAPE INSTEAD OF CUBE BUT MY LECTURE RECOMMEND ME TO USE CUBE TO REPRESENT THE WALL LIGHT. SHE ALSO ASKED ME TO PLAY AROUND WITH THE CUBE SO WHY NOT? SO I DECIDE TO PUT THE LIGHTNING ON TOP TO CREATE THE CUBE SHADOW AND SOME FADE AWAY SHODOW.

THIS IS MY FINAL BOARD FOR THE LIGHT BOX ALSO MY FINAL FOR THE FIRST ASSIGNMENT. ALTHOUGH THIS ASSIGNMENT IS TUFF BUT WE MANAGE TO LEARN THE SHADOW, CONTRAST, LIGHTNING TONE AND THE REFLECTION.

ASSIGNMENT 1

For the very first assignment, our lecturer divide us into four group which is Vince Low, Jonathan Yun, Hared Rashid and Anna. I'm been given Vince Low for my group. So for our first assignment we have to do research for our artist and design a A3 infographic board. A very short info about Vince Low, when he was born he has a disease called dyslexia. He can't read or write not even study after he found out he have a talented in drawing. He's drawing is scribbling type. Then, he is graduated from the One Academy with a Diploma in Illustration. After he graduated, now he's the head of illustration at Grey group Kuala Lumpur.

ASSIGNMENT 2

After we done our assignment, we move on to our sec assignment. For our second assignment, we need to design a toolbox for our own artist base on their style and what material they using to create their artwork. So for my artist, all he need is just different type of Artline thickness pen and different size of paper as simple as that.

This is my Flip-Flip case.

The board which flip out is to extend for larger size paper.

The drawer is to put the accessories like pen.

For the bottom space is to put his electronic accessories like iPad mini, power bank, charger and many more. For the sliding part is to insert different size of paper but maximum is A3 size.

ASSIGNMENT 3

This is the location which I pick for my EP and IDP assignment.

At last for our last assignment, before we do our last assignment for idp. this assignment is related to our Environmental Psychology assignment because for that subject we are asked to choose a place for our container house. For the location that I pick which is Genting Villa which located at nearby Genting Highland. For the last assignment for me is the most difficult be cause we are asked to draw floor plan, section, elevation, perspective and oblique so it took time to draw theses drawing. I was asked to change some design during tutorial. At last my lecturer suggest me some best idea and I think it was great so why not.

After our drawing we also asked to do a model of our container house the due date to be honest is quite rush it only have three day for us to build a model but at last I manage to complete it.

PARKING SYSTEM

What is parking system?

A car parking system is a mechanical device that multiplies parking capacity inside a parking lot. Parking systems are generally powered by electric motors or hydraulic pumps that move vehicles into a storage position.

There are two types of car parking system, which is traditional and automated. Car parking systems are likely to be more cost effective when compared to traditional parking garages. Automatic multi-story automated car park systems are less expensive per parking slot, since they tend to require less building volume and less ground area than a conventional facility with the same capacity. Both automated car parking systems and automated parking garage systems reduce pollution cars are not running or circling around while drivers look for parking spaces.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TAYLORS CARPARK AND DK SENZA

TAYLORS CARPARK

This is an open space parking in Taylors University. The ventilation there is good but non-shelter is provided. During the hot weather, the car becomes getting hotter and also not comfortable for the driver.

DK SENZA CARPARK

This parking area which is located at DK Senza. Although the ventilation is not good enough but it provide shelter for the vehicle to prevent the sun radiation and driver cannot get wet from raining weather.

LIGHTNING SYSTEM

What is light?

An electric light is a device that produces visible light by the flow of electric current. It is the most common form of artificial lighting and is essential to modern society,^[1] providing interior lighting for buildings and exterior light for evening and nighttime activities. There are two type of lightning system, which is electric light and natural light. A natural lightning, which is a light direct out from the sunlight to create brightness for interior space or other spaces.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN TAYLORS CARPARK AND DK SENZA

TAYLORS BUILDING

In Taylors university, they use the transparent glass to allow the natural sunlight to enter. It gives lecturer or student to have the natural feel and fell comfortable in the interior spaces.

DK SENZA BUILDING

In DK Senza building, it does not have any spaces to allow the sunlight to enter through this building so it only enters some of the natural lightning from above of the building. For this building they only use electrical lightning to light up the spaces.

REFLECTION

This assignment I have learn that the advantages and disadvantages of these two building from different spaces. For the car park, I have learned that is more important to have shelter for the parking spaces because when the car getting hotter it easily spoiled and also comfortable for the driver to enter their car because inside is not hot. For the lightning, I also have learned that to better have natural light rather than electrical light because it can safe electricity and also less burden.
