The Arch
Is been a long time I touch my computer, evermore so blogging. Yet here I am again. It is the beginning of the semester and even now theres a flood amount of work. Ms Sharon our construction and technology lecturer release a new assignment which was the Arch. The purpose of this assignment is to build an arch that function just as well as it looks.
We began by planning a design which believe me is a lot harder than it loosks. People think its just a a clay but what made it difficult was that we had to support it as how it would have been done in the olden days. This is the process that we make the arch by using the plasticine.

We began by planning a design which believe me is a lot harder than it loosks. People think its just a a clay but what made it difficult was that we had to support it as how it would have been done in the olden days. This is the process that we make the arch by using the plasticine.
First we roll the plasticine for the leg of the arch. For the requirement each arch leg we made it to to the height of 3 inches. We then cut it into square making it into blocks where we would later stack it up forming the pillars. To end and connect to each side of the pillars, we made a keystone which acts as the centre piece.
This the endow the result of the arch that we build.
In the end, the test that Ms Sharon perform showed that our arch held its require load. However we were hoping that it would support a larger amount of the item that we put on. At last, we manage to put 7 handphone on top of it.
